Course goals
Insight into machine safety with the focus on MRK applications

Contents
• Definition and rules on the subject of MRK (DIN 101218-1 and-2 and ISO/TS15066)
• Carrying out risk assessments according to DIN 12100
• Carrying out pressure and force measurements
• Verification and validation of security functions according to DIN 13849-1 and 2
• Define the 4 protection principles:
1. Safety-related monitored standstill;
2. Manual guidance;
3. Speed and distance monitoring;
4. Power and force limitation
• Performance and force measurement with YuMi
• Carrying out force measurements
• Calculation example of a safety function
• Validation
